Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit Installation - 2022 Chevrolet Spark- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer. And today, we're taking a look and installing the Roadmaster base plate for a flat towed vehicle on a 2022 Chevrolet Spark. Your base plate is going to be the attachment point for your main components on a flat towed vehicle. And the Roadmaster ones do a really good job of securely mounting up to the frame of the vehicle, creating a good, solid mounting point for your tow bar and your safety chain loops. There's even a mounting bracket for your supplemental braking system as well as one for your diode wiring, so it really has all the features set up for you to be able to hook it up. Now, the great part about this one is the fact that it has these removable arms. more

Hey everyone, Shane here with etrailer.com. Today I have a 2021 Chevrolet Spark, and I'm gonna walk through how to install the Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate. We're gonna have removable arms. We're also gonna have a quick disconnect bar, or a crossbar, which means that we don't actually have to remove these. We take the two pins outta the top, we can lift the bar off, and leave it attached to our tow bar. Now if you decided you didn't want to take the crossbar off, you wanted to leave it on the vehicle. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Chevrolet Spark we're gonna take a look at and show you how to install the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit with removable arms. Part number is BX1725. Now, here's what your baseplate's gonna look like installed. As you can see with the removable arms we're able to really camouflage it, it doesn't add a whole lot of difference in the look quality of the front of your vehicle.What you'll have exposed is gonna be the pocket, and where you'll add your removable arms. You'll see they provide dust caps to keep dirt and debris out. You just want to slide your arm in. more

Roadmaster EZ4 Base Plate Kit Installation - 2017 Chevrolet Spark- Video
Today in our 2017 Chevrolet Spark we'll be having a look at and installing the Roadmaster EZ for base plate kit with removable arms. Part number RM-523185-4. Here's what our base plate looks like installed. As you can see it's nice and tucked up behind our fascia. The only part you really see sticking out in front of the fascia is our safety chain attachment points right here on either side of our license plate. That gives you your attachment point here for your electrical connector, for your towed vehicle lighting system, or a charge align, or anything of that nature that's electrically related. We have a nice attachment point right here to mount a breakaway switch, which we've utilized here today. more
